As NJ and VA transplants, my husband and I relocated to Florida after my 2 children were in college. We ditched our snow shovels for shorts and flip flops, and never looked back! As a former busy working mom, life as an empty nester was very… quiet. Life as I knew it went from 150 mph every single day, down to a standstill. This was an opportunity to decide what I wanted to do with the next chapter of my life. The last thing I wanted to do was to find a job sitting in an office all day. I did want to be involved in something creative, collaborative, and fun, where I could utilize my experience to support women in similar situations. Most importantly, I wanted to enjoy what I was doing every day.
After several discussions with my husband Patrick, we decided to search for a business where we could combine our experience and skills. We researched different franchise opportunities and were excited to find Aimee and Will, the founders of SUGAR SUGAR. Their passion and excitement about growing the brand is infectious! They perfected Sugaring hair removal and assembled complimentary organic services and products, like Spray tanning, Facials, and Skincare, which benefit men and women of all ages. We were inspired by their hands-on approach to expanding the brand nationwide, their commitment to supporting women in business, and their ability to provide a culture of positive growth for employees and franchisees.
